AMA TechTel celebrates grand opening in Aspermont

High-speed internet and telephone provider AMA TechTel thanked Aspermont residents for welcoming them to the neighborhood by celebrating the company’s grand opening last week at the Stonewall Senior Citizens’ Center.

Residents from the Aspermont and the surrounding area joined members of AMA TechTel staff for burgers, drinks, and sweets, as the company is now officially open for business. AMA contracted with the city back in May, looking to expand its services into 16 additional communities in the region.

Texas-based AMA TechTel is headquartered in Amarillo and has been in business since 2000, currently offering services to roughly 120 towns across the state. AMA operates a wireless telephone and internet service, specializing in rural communities generally partnering with smaller cities like Aspermont.
