Ozarka Water finds the Sprit of Texas springing up Rotan

Students, school administrators, public officials, citizens of Rotan, and media folks from Good Morning Texas filled the Rotan ISD auditorium last Wednesday as Ozarka® Brand unveiled a promotional video, which used the Rotan Band and the community behind them to show the Spirit of Texas.

It all started in the fall of 2015 when Photojournalist Greg Kendall-Ball documented the 25-member band on their road to the state marching competition. Texas Monthly ran his piece and mini-documentary in November of ’15, the original story can still be found on the website at: http://www.texasmonthly.com/rotan-yellowhammer-marching-band/

“It was one of my favorite stories I've done in my entire career. I just tried to get out of the way and let the kids—and the town—tell their own story,” said Kendall-Ball.
