Rotan Goes Big forAmerica’s 250th with Cars, Cookouts, and Fireworks

Come the first weekend in July, downtown Rotan will be anything but quiet. Old engines will be parked along Main Street, kids will have watermelon on their chins, and the smell of funnel cakes and grilled sausage will carry down the block well into the evening. The whole town is throwing a party for the nation's 250th birthday, and just about everybody has a hand in it.
