Just before the Christmas break, the Aspermont City Council reviewed a proposal for a new business, which was approved for roughly $56,000 in funding through a combination of grants and loans through the Aspermont EDC/IDC. After reviewing the proposal, the corresponding funding agreement, and hearing from business owner Danny Ellison, the council also granted approval.
