As an editor and columnist, I not only welcome opposing dialogue but advocate for the use of it, as in my observation the decisions that follow thoughtful debate frequently serve the greatest public interest. As a journalist and news reporter, I find it admittedly aggravating to see oppositional speech — especially rhetorical speech — supported by inaccurate facts and misinformation....
