Celia Marie Head was born December 27, 1953, in Loraine, Tx. Celia was called to her Father’s house June 21, 2024. She was married to Freddie Lee Rasberry on August 15, 1975, in Snyder Texas.
Celia was known for her excellent upholstery work. She did upholstery on furniture, boats, automobiles… you name it she could do it. She was known to knock out walls, redo homes for her family and “fix things up”. She enjoyed gardening and feeding/watching the birds. But most of all her family will miss her cooking. She was the best cook, she had recipes but mostly it was a pinch of this or a dash of that; it was always delicious.
Celia was preceded in death by her husband Freddie (Fred) Rasberry of 47 years.
Parents: C. W. Head and Opal Marie Horton, stepdaughter Jeannie Rasberry Whitsell, stepbrother Clint Head and stepsister Kim Davis.
She is survived by her stepchildren Rachel Halstead of Abilene and Rowdy Rasberry and wife Vicky of Roby, brothers and sisters: Doris and husband Sam Harvey of Sweetwater, Winford and Bonnie Head of Granbury, Sherene and husband Warren Templet of Roby, Teddy and Shellie Head of Victoria, Kenny Head of Abilene, sister Kelly and husband Raul Espinosa of Abilene and sister Shanna and Randy Zelner of Seminole along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Sweetwater Cemetery on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Carter Edmondson Officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
