Jeanie Pearl Wright, 81, of Hawley passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at an Abilene hospice facility. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

Jeanie was born February 5, 1944, in Post to Dee Russell and Tommie Frances (Ellison) Cochran. She graduated from Seminole High School and attended a business school in Fort Worth. Jeanie married Billy Mark Wright on February 24, 1964, and they moved to Hawley in 1984. She worked as a secretary for many years, retiring in 2000.

She is survived by two daughters, Vivian Romero and David Mills of Hawley and Kimberly Dawn Jimenez and husband Robert of Anson; two sisters, Janie Cochran Andrews of Bridge City and Glenda Radde Cochran of Ranger; eight grandchildren, Steven Romero, Nicholas Romero and wife April, Marissa C. Romero, Kimber Ramirez and husband Chris, Robin Layne and husband Edward, Tyler Jimenez and wife Kristen, Christopher Jackson and wife Kelsey and Heather Jackson; nineteen great grandchildren, Logan Romero, Allie Romero, Jayson Romero, Liam Romero, Isaac Romero, Serenity Ramirez, Madylynne Ramirez, Gracelynn Ramirez, Akadian Ramirez, Trinity Jordan, Kash and Jacob Justiss, McKenlynn, Mila, Cecelia and Lucas Jimenez, Allie, Landon and Weston Jackson.

Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Billy Mark Wright, her daughter, Pamela Jane Jackson and her brother, Tommy Dee Cochran and her sister, Linda Nell Cochran.
