Lady Hammers/Lion Boys claim District Championships at Jr. High Track Meet

Rotan Jr. High Lady Hammer Track Team: Braylee Carrillo, Elizabeth Turner, Arianna Fillingim, Kate Van Poppel, Tanley Park, Madison Fillingim, Abigail Rivers, Hailey Wright, Talyn Lewis, Avery Gonzalez, Halen Gibson. They finished 1st at the Jr. High District Track Meet in Roby last Monday with a point total of 180, followed by the Roby Lady Cubs with 168, and the Aspermont Lady Stingers with a total of 63.

Roby Cubs Track Team: Casey Brown, Karter Scherwitz, Kallen Moody, Erick Amaya, Kaden Scherwitz, Anthony Moreno, Camden Lummus, Ryan Weathers, Christian Gomez, Brycen Cole, Adler Pasley, Xaybian Cortez,Caleb Fortushniak, Kullen Daniel, Kaden Waldon, Kameron Blassingame. The Cubs finished on top well ahead of the competition with a point total of 241 last Monday at the Jr. High Meet in Roby to claim the District Championship. 2nd and 3rd place finishers were Rotan with 87, and Aspermont with 80 respectively.
