The Roby CISD Board of Trustees remained silent after Board President Chris Estes called for a vote to censure a board member upon returning from behind closed doors last Thursday.

After hearing from members of the press and legal counselors who objected to last Thursday’s special-called meeting, several community members spoke to the character of trustee, Danny Carreon and criticized the Roby CISD Board for considering the resolution for censure. After roughly an hour behind closed doors, the board reconvened, declining to make a motion before adjourning the meeting.
