Stonewall County Proclaims June 26th Dorthey Dickerson Day!

  • The Stonewall County Commissioners presented a proclamation late last month, declaring June 26 as Dorthey Dickerson Day in Stonewall. “I can say one thing,” said Dickerson, a one-time courthouse employee, “and I have enjoyed all 20 years of being here with all y’all. It has been a pleasure.” Stonewall County Judge Ronnie Moorhead said one of the things he misses the most is that Dickerson was one of the only people who would share morning coffee with him.
