Members of the Rotan ISD Junior class began working out the first draft of a petition they hope will convience school officials to reconsider the 2023 - 2024 school calendar.
After last week’s adoption of Rotan ISD’s 2023-2024 school calendar, which is scheduled around a four-day school week, a group of high school students took action, initiating a petition to convince the board to reconsider, requesting the district maintain the current schedule to include Friday classes.
