Anonymous responses, accepted through Aug. 31, 2026, will help Texas improve its groundwater-use estimates
State water planners are asking groundwater well owners in Fisher and Stonewall counties, and across Texas, to share basic information about wells that its regular water-use surveys do not capture.
The Texas Water Development Board has partnered with the University of Texas Bureau of Economic Geology on a voluntary, anonymous survey of unmetered wells and their uses.
