Little Dribblers basketball has several things happening at once. Kids are being told to look, pass, shoot, dribble, jump, grab, and steal. It’s a tall order for these short humans. When you do have someone who actually can run and dribble and shoot, the issue then becomes one of ball management.

TEA annual report just released

The Texas Education Agency’s annual report was released last week. It indicates per-student funding in the 2021-2022 school year averaged $14,928 per student, up 42% since 2011. However, state funding has only risen slightly in the past decade, while local funding has increased substantially.

Secret Simon Dear Editor, Thank you, Mr. Hurt, for getting to the truth of Secret Simon’s real reason for an expensive and unnecessary animal control program. I know he lived in McCaulley, and thus Rotan and Roby city ordinances would not help him. I did not know of the loose dogs in McCaulley.
