Rotan City Council held a specialcalled meeting last week to discuss the proposed animal control ordinances. Although council members did not agree on all aspects of the revisions and the city’s lack of a municipal court, officials approved the first reading of the ordinances and corresponding penalties with a 4 to 1 vote.
