Fisher Commissioner indicted for theft

The Fisher County Grand Jury indicted Precinct 3 Commissioner Preston Martin on Wednesday, April 20 on charges of Theft of Property between 30 K – 150 K and Tampering with a Government Record with intent to Defraud/Harm.

Double Mountain academics are State Bound

Young academics competed in the UIL Regional Academic Competition over the weekend, with Aspermont, Roby, and Rotan students headed to Austin to represent their respective school districts at the state competitions next weekend.
