Market concerns equal good commodity crop prices

Commodity crop prices continue to remain strong across the board as weather and geopolitical concerns add volatility to markets, according to a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service expert. Mark Welch, Ph.D.

Fisher and Stonewall Candidate Q&A update

Q&A sessions with Fisher County candidates have been rescheduled for next week as Stonewall County’s Q&A was canceled after candidates declined to attend the event.

Aspermont City Council fills vacancy and calls for election

Newly appointed Marla McCoy took her oath last week, filling the temporary vacancy on the Aspermont City Council. Shortly after, city officials called for an election for mayor and three council seats to be held in May.
