OMG last week I made the remark I wish the Ghost would bring us some rain, and boy oh boy did we get a nice rain. We got about two and one half inches of it. It stormed all night here and the wind blew hard and it rained hard, and oh my, the loud thunder. No sleep here with all the noise and storm.

A growing number of Texas homeowners are forgoing buying homeowners insurance as premiums skyrocket, according to a recent report from the Texas comptroller.Recent natural disasters – hurricanes, severe storms and wildfires – have prompted some insurers to limit or even eliminate coverage in Texas.
