Patient Volume Slows, but Hospital Finances Stay Positive

Stonewall Memorial Hospital District board members received a January financial and operational update during a recent meeting, with administrators reporting the district remained financially positive year to date while cash collections and patient volumes continued to run behind last year.

The Texas Supreme Court on Friday reversed a Travis County district court order that had blocked the attorney general’s office from enforcing civil investigative demands issued to PFLAG, a national organization that advocates for LGBTQ families.
