At the regular called meeting on Tuesday, the Aspermont City Council accepted the resignation letter from Councilman Chad Criswell before approving the resolution and interlocal agreement with the county to cover a deputy sheriff’s salary. The council will be looking to fill the vacancy by appointment until voters can elect someone to fill the unexpired term in May.
