Roby senior Calie Hernandez competed at the THSWPA Regional Powerlifting Meet in Big Spring last Thursday. She would go on to finish 2nd overall in the 220 weight class with a weight total of 760 pounds through all events, securing her a spot at the Texas High School Women's Powerlifting State Championships at Bert Odgen Arena in Edinburg, TX. She will compete during the 1A-2A portion on Wednesday, March 12th starting at 8am. Courtesy Photo.
