Roby Lion XC racks up 1st Place finishes at Guthrie

Last Wednesday, Roby Cross Country took on Guthrie’s Rattlesnake Run. Known for its rough terrain, unpredictable conditions, and “wild” wildlife, the runners needed to be mentally prepared for the challenging day. The Lions took on the course first.

Roby Lions fall 0-27 to Loop Longhorns at home

Last Thursday, Roby’s varsity football team took on the Loop Longhorns. After a battle of turnovers, the Lions were unable to come out with a win, making their record now 0-4. Roby kicked off to Loop to begin the game.

Hammers get big win on Homecoming

The Rotan Yellowhammers celebrated 100 years of Hammer football and Homecoming last Friday night. It was only fitting the Hammers would come away with a big win over Woodson to improve to 1-2 on the season.

Lions fall to Irion Co. on Homecoming night

The stands were packed, not only with high school students, but parents, exes, and loyal fans. This year’s captains walked across the field, preparing for the coin toss. The coin was flipped and the game soon began. The Lions would start on defense.
