    In the early hours of July 5, a dramatic incident unfolded when a Good Samaritan effort resulted in gunplay that turned into a high-speed chase that ended with burning wreckage and a more than two-hour standoff with police before 23-year-old Kyler Covington was taken into custody with no further incident.
