Law enforcement investigated a vehicle accident on Saturday that took the driver on a quarter-mile ride across Rotan ISD sports fields, causing significant damage to multiple fences and school grounds before getting stuck in the neighboring field.
It is believed a stuck accelerator was the reason for losing control of the eastbound truck over the weekend, taking the juvenile driver on a wild, almost-quarter-mile ride through portions of Rotan ISD’s sports fields, crashing through multiple fences, and causing a yet uncalculated amount of total damage.
