A “Porcupine Avoidance Training” for dogs will be held at the Rolling Plains Quail Research Ranch between Roby and Snyder, TX on Saturday, October 21 from 8 am to 12:00 pm.
Dr. Dale Rollins, Director of Outreach at the Rolling Plains Quail Research Ranch, said the training will benefit hunting dogs by creating an “aversion” to porcupines so that a dog will learn to avoid them....
