After receiving bids for concrete work needed for the recently approved Aspermont Cemetery expansion, the Stonewall commissioners agreed that rate increases were needed to not only offset construction costs but to keep up with annual maintenance of the grounds. The court agreed to offer burial plots in the new area for $400, but also increased costs for plots in the existing area to $200.
