Ted Ramirez, 69, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026. Born June 17, 1957, in Rotan, TX, Ted led a life characterized by hard work, dedication, and quiet strength. With a remarkable 40-year career as a butcher and meat market manager, he took immense pride in his work and built lasting relationships with his coworkers and customers alike.
Ted was not only defined by his work ethic but also by his simplicity, genuine kindness expressed through his smile. He had an innate ability to offer thoughtful advice and a listening ear to those who sought it. His practical wisdom and steady demeanor left a profound impact on his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ted Ramirez, his mother, Dolores Lopez, and his beloved sister, Norma Torres. Ted is survived by his loving sisters, Elaine Yanez and Georgette Dewbre, as well as numerous nephews and nieces who will cherish his memory dearly, A graveside service for Ted will be 10:00 AM on Friday, July 31, 2026 at the Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
