    Our local teams had a tough first week of district play, each falling to ranked opponents. The Rotan Yellowhammers were defeated at home 24-70 by the Ira Bulldogs, who forced the mercy rule early in 4th quarter. The Hammers fought to keep up with Bulldogs through the first half.
