The Fisher County Hospital District Board of Directors met earlier this week, where they approved upgrades to the hospital security monitoring system and were informed that recent inspections required additional work to the new clinic parking lot.

The City of Aspermont was notified last Friday that its drinking water had exceeded the acceptable level for nitrate, causing officials to issue a public notice warning pregnant or expecting mothers as well as children under six months old against drinking the water until water can be retested.
