The Fisher County Historical Commission met on Tuesday, December 6th, for their Annual Christmas Party and to close out 2022.Gifts were exchanged, a pot luck supper was enjoyed, and fabulous fellowship was had by all.

Stonewall Hospital settles controversial payment

In a meeting on Monday, the Stonewall Memorial Hospital District Board of Directors agreed to pay roughly $39,000 in travel expenses to former CEO Kyle Lee, which became a serious point of contention between officials during Lee’s departure in September.

Just before the Thanksgiving break, Rotan ISD Trustees heard from Gerald Rodgers with James E. Rodgers & Co., who presented the district’s annual financial report for 2022, which showed the district ended 2022 with a strong financial position.
