Here we are in Christmas Week, and things have not changed here. Still have to stay in and nothing going on to talk about. Some are going to have a big Christmas and others are not planning anything due to all the illness. I wish everyone the best that can be.

The past year has seemingly brought endless challenges, both for the cattle industry and the entire nation. The coronavirus, social unrest and political divisiveness have dominated news headlines for most of the year.

Fisher County Gin Reports

As of Monday, December 14, 2020, the Rotan Gin has ginned 5,587 bales. The Longworth Ginin Roby has ginned 4,121 and they have approximately 3,000 left to gin.

Fisher County Sheriff Report

Fisher County Sheriff’s Office received (47) 911 calls, (14) reports of stray livestock, assisted other agencies on (1) calls, and (35) other calls for service. Fisher County EMS responded to (16) emergency calls and (5) non-emergencies.
