Why do we park on a driveway and drive on a parkway? It’s an old joke. I do not know its origins, but it’s a point of humor that seems to get passed on to children in books of jokes/riddles/mildly humorous wisecracks. There actually is a reason behind it, though!

We had a nice storm around here on Friday evening. The report and pictures showed that we had three tornados in the area. Some took pictures and posted them on FB. I have not heard how much damage resulted from the tornados, but heard about some of it.

Thank you God for the nice rain you gave us. No storm, just a much needed rain. We are so Blessed. I am so glad we do not live up north or in California. Folks are in such a mess and so many lives being lost, it is heart breaking. Here we are going on the second month in the New Year.

Oh Gosh, it is cold, cold, cold and I hate cold weather. I don't know how low the temp got, but I believe it is low enough. I am ready for spring. I have not been out and about so there is nothing to write about. You all probably know more news than I will give you.
