'I guess you can call me 'old fashioned.' I prefer the book with the pages that you can actually turn. Sure, I may have to lick the tip of my fingers so that the pages don't stick together when I'm enraptured in a story that I can't wait to get to the next page.

Well, it has been an interesting week, we have had good rain almost every night and there is lot of water to see. There are different amounts reported every morning. I got an inch during the night last night and I was told that folks out north of Old GLory got three inches.

Who would have thought a month ago that we would have a backyard full of water. We have had so much rain in Aspermont and the surrounding counties we can hardly believe the rain we are getting. It's wonderful the tanks are getting full of water, some of them have tanks running around, how wonderful.

When Kenneth Phillips was in his mid 40s he lost all of his fingers and toes due to frostbite. This was not in the arctic or some other frigid place. It was in San Angelo, Texas. He faced years of hospitalization and depression then one day decided he was tired of inactivity and feeling sad.
