At the District XC meet in Rotan earlier last month, Lady Lion senior runner Hailee Garmer leads the pack followed close behind by fellow senior teammate Chasity Benson. Benson would eventually overtake Garmer to place 1st overall, while Garmer finished 3rd. At the Regional meet in San Angelo, Garmer would turn the tables and take 1st place overall, with Benson finishing 2nd. Lady Lions XC team & Lion Freshman Lummus set sights on State Glory
The Roby Lady Lions Cross Country Team is headed back to the state competition this weekend. This is the fourth trip to the state competition for seniors Chasity Benson and Hailee Garmer, while it will be a first for freshman, Camden Lummus, the only competitor in the boys division.
