Early voting underway in Texas

Texas voters headed out to the polling locations across the state this week, as early voting opened on Tuesday ahead of the 2024 Democratic and Republican primary election day, set for March 5.

Basketball Season comes to an end

This Tuesday, the last of our area teams wrapped up their respective basketball seasons. The Aspermont Lady Hornets and Roby Lady Lions, after advancing to the Area playoff round, were defeated last Friday by the Hermleigh Lady Cardinals and Westbrook Lady Wildcats respectively.

Oh my, what a day, the weather is bad, cold and snow. I guess that is good, since it is still winter and we have not had any really winter weather as yet. We are thankful for all the moisture we are getting. We will think about all this mud and cold weather in July and August.
