Stonewall escapee captured after police surround home

After more than six weeks on the run after escaping from the Stonewall County Jail in November, a multiagency team arrested Jeremy Lynn Trevino at a Jayton residence last week. A second individual, Juan Hernandez of Jayton, was also arrested and charged with hindering Trevino’s apprehension.

The Davis Family grew by two this week, where during an adoption proceeding that was joined by several friends and family on Tuesday, Judge David Hall said he was pleased to announce that Jahzlyn Belle and Acelyn Asteria are officially part of the Sherrie Davis family.
