The U.S. Department of Agriculture has barred 10 lenders from its largest rural business loan program, including a Dallas-based bank's wholly owned subsidiary that has been one of the most active non-bank USDA rural lenders in the country.

Stonewall Memorial Hospital District Seats New Directors, Honors Elkins’ Years of Service

Stonewall Memorial Hospital District welcomed two board members and marked the end of a longtime director’s service during its Monday, May 11 meeting, swearing in Claire Clark and Edmond Scott Lucast to new three-year terms while honoring outgoing board member Ruthie Elkins.

FARM BUREAU PUSHES BACK ON DATA CENTERS

The Texas Farm Bureau, the state’s largest agricultural advocacy organization, sent a letter dated April 20 to Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Speaker Dustin Burrows urging stronger oversight of data center development across Texas.
