Roby Lions pounce the Rule Bobcats

The Lady Lions put up another great fight Tuesday night and came away with another district win against the Rule Lady Bobcats, marking the end of district competition for the Lady Lions. The first half was an even fight on both ends of the court, with a tied score of 25-25 at halftime.

Lady Hornets clinch District Championship; Hornet Boys one step closer

On January 28th, Aspermont met up with the Lueders-Avoca Raiders on a special night; the school recognized the players from the state qualifying teams in the 1960s before the games. Both teams showed out, with the girls starting the night with a 88-17 win against the Raiders.

Hammers play strong against Roby

As of January 24, the Rotan Hammers are keeping pace with the Knox City Greyhounds and the Roby Lions in District Play. The team defeated the Lions on January 18 (53-38) and lost to Aspermont on January 21 (46-60).

Aspermont teams win big over Rule Bobcats

On January 14th, the Lady Hornets played Richland Springs in Abilene. During the game, Payton Potts was an offensive threat, scoring 14 of 27 points. The Lady Hornets fell short with a loss of 27-40. On January 18th, the Aspermont Hornets and Lady Hornets traveled to Rule to play the Bobcats.
