Aspermont ISD welcomes new board member

The Aspermont ISD Board of Trustees swore in its newest member on Monday, before getting down to business. The board welcomed Trace Myers, who will replace former AISD Board President Jared Bell who resigned some months ago due to conflicting duties.

In a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, representatives of the Fisher County Hospital District and project partners sunk their golden shovels into the soil, moistened by rare 2022 Texas rainfall, officially beginning the construction of the district’s new rural health clinic.
