Roby CISD trustees approve second windfarm agreement

With time slipping away on the Chapter 313 agreements, Roby CISD designated a reinvestment zone and approved the subsequent tax abatement agreement Hill Country Wind Power Mesquite Star for the second phase of one of the state’s largest wind farm projects.

Aspermont awarded $350K water grant

Aspermont City Manager Lorenzo Calamaco informed the council last month that the city was informed they would be awarded a $350,000 grant for completing a proposed project to upgrade the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
