The Aspermont City Council, during a lengthy meeting last week, approved proceeding to the next phase of its ongoing cleanup project, taking the initial steps for using code enforcement to remove dilapidated structures from the city’s main street.

Civil case stalls: Commissioner Martin to remain in office

Judge Ernie Armstrong brought Fisher County’s 32nd Judicial Courtroom to order more than two hours later than scheduled on Wednesday, where after meeting with both legal teams for more than an hour in chambers, announced the court would need additional information before hearing evidence.
