October 15, 1959 – July 30, 2022 We are sad to announce the passing of Raul F. Flores (Big Rudy) of Rotan, Tx. He passed away at the age of 62 on July 30th, 2022 at Fisher County Hospital. Raul passed away surrounded by his wife and daughter after a long battle of cancer.

James Wayne Porter

James Wayne Porter of Round Rock, Texas passed away at home on July 18, 2022 at the age of 88. He was born in Rotan, Texas to Wayne Porter and Nobia Myers Porter on January 19, 1934.

James Carter, 87, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022. Visitation will be Friday, July 22, 2022 at First Baptist Church Rotan from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.

Brian Baugh passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Belvieu Cemetery, Rotan, Texas. He was born in Lubbock, Texas on April 7, 1963, and I came along on November 30, 1964. Yes, Brian was my older brother.

Rotan - Gordon “Scotty” Daniel, 89, of Rotan, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022. The son of Roy Earl Daniel and Ethel Launa Daniel, Scotty was born in Houston, Texas on October 31, 1932.

John B Price of Rotan, passed away on June 18, 2022, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home from 6 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Belvieu Cemetery.

Dorothy Glynn

Dorothy Glynn was born November 19, 1928, to Pink and Orpha Terry. She passed from this life June 16, 2022, at the age of 93. Dorothy attended the Roby School system and graduated from Roby High School in 1946.
