Last Thursday, the Lady Lions battled the Hermleigh Cardinals for the area title. The Lady Lions fought hard, but were ultimately defeated, with a final score of 25-55.
Leading the team in scoring was Callie Humphrey, with eight points. Following behind her was Joselynn Williams with six, Chastity Benson with five, Mackenzie Castillo with four, and Ivy Espinoza with two.
