Rotan prepares pothole patching infrastructure

The City of Rotan’s patients paid off this week when the 6000 gal tank the city will use to store the emulsion needed for addressing the city’s widespread issue with potholes, a problem officials have been working toward for years and are now one step closer to solving… or at least patching.

After a later start than anticipated due to concerns stemming from last week’s city council meeting, demolition of the house on Aspermont’s southern end — along with two other properties — proceeded on Monday with the owner giving assurances to the community about the property’s future.
