Texans face skyrocketing home energy bills as the state exports more natural gas than ever

Texans are seeing skyrocketing home electric bills this spring and summer, with many customers paying at least 50% more than they did for electric bills at this time last year. And nobody seems to know when costs will go down.

Dual structure fires cause devastation in Fisher County

Fisher County Emergency Response personnel were dispatched to the scene of two fires that started around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, and with divided crews and limited water sources, firefighters were unable to save the home of one Fisher County resident.
