Fisher County Fair & Rodeo Hosts Countywide Christmas Light Contest

Fisher County residents will have a new reason to slow down and look around next week as the Fisher County Fair and Rodeo Association sponsors a countywide Christmas Light Contest heads into its final days for entries, building toward an evening of judging and a community “trail of lights” tour.

Stonewall Hospital Approves ER Entrance Upgrade

The Stonewall Memorial Hospital District board voted unanimously on Nov. 24, 2025 to replace the gravel and asphalt surface at the emergency room entrance with a concrete pad. Officials said the project will improve patient safety and drainage while supporting a local contractor.
