The Rotan ISD Board of Trustees formally approved the contract with Trevor Edgemon during its meeting on Tuesday, officially making him superintendent of schools for the district. The vote followed a three-week waiting period required by state law after Edgemon was named lone finalist on July 15.

Construction crews have been hard at work inside Aspermont ISD’s high school gymnasium this summer, and trustees took a quick tour of the construction area during the July board meeting where construction representatives said improvements are progressing right on schedule.
