Steve never forgets the second grade

When Steve Dunbar of Dayton was in the second grade, the teacher had some unusual punishments. When he didn’t finish a math test in the allotted time, he got popped with a paddle. “I sat there in tears knowing I wouldn’t finish the test in time and would end up getting pops,” says Steve.

It sure was nice to get some rain, it is so amazing what a little rain will do. So much turned green so fast. The days are getting so much shorter and the mornings are very pleasant. Maybe we are through with the hot weather, but need more rain.

Oh how sweet it is, and Praise the Lord. We got rain, got a half inch on Saturday and a light sprinkle on Sunday morning. The cool temperatures are so wonderful, it makes people smile. It is amazing how the weather effects people.
