The Lady Yellowhammers won their third district game against the Lady Raiders of Lueders-Avoca on January 9, by the score of 58-16..according to my stats and the score board at Avoca. The team grabbed 44 Rebs and distributed 13 assists on the offensive end of the court.

Aspermont teams rout Paint Creek; honor player milestone

This past Friday night the Aspermont Hornets hosted the Paint Creek Pirates for a round of crucial district matches.After the JV Lady Hornets started off the night with a win, the Aspermont varsity Lady Hornets during pregame recognized senior player Matti Polk for achieving a career 500 rebounds.

This past Monday night the Aspermont Hornets made the trip to Hamlin to take on Pipers.The JV Lady Hornets got things started, putting up a dominating performance against the JV Lady Pipers in a 53-8 rout against Hamlin.

Hammer varsity teams hold off Rule Bobcats at home

The Lady Yellowhammers and the Rotan Yellowhammers hosted the teams from Rule. The Lady Yellowhammers defeated the Lady Cats by a score of fifty-eight to nine. The team has a record of two wins and one loss as of January 2. Van Poppel shot 66.67 percent from the field, making 8 of 12 shots.
