Good morning to all my friends you read my column and welcome to the new friends I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy visiting with you every Monday morning, Joe and I have had a restful week this week, we've finally got over that trip to North Carolina.

My Plea

Lord help me to run to you instead of running away Lord help me to be kind to the unkind. Lord help me to put others needs ahead of my own. Lord help me to remember we're not in this along and that you're right here with us.

In general, I am not one to wish for things to be as they were. I had to wait 364 days to be able to watch The Wizard of Oz since it only came on once a year on a Sunday night at 6 p.m. CST. Once— and only once—I watched my mother wash out my little brother’s poopy cloth diaper in the commode.
