Good morning to all of my friends that i visit with every Monday morning, and I hope more of my friends will be reading the newspaper this next year, we all have fun writing these columns, lots of hard work for Patricia and Jeff, but the rest of us just have fun!!!!!!

Every year about this time, I candidly discuss my complicated feelings about the Christmas season. To be clear, as always, I LOVE Christmas and the power of the true message of Christmas. My struggle comes from all of the things that sometimes surround and overwhelm the reason for the season.

1/2 pkg frozen puff pastry 1 sheet - thawed 1/2 (cup?)peeled chopped apples 2 T sugar 1 tsp cinnamon Caramels 3 tsp heavy cream Toasted, chopped nuts (any kind) Oven 400 degrees Unfold puff pastry sheets. Roll pastry into 15x10 inch rectangle.
